I thought it was a great introduction to the IT world. The course wasn't too technical to discourage someone from continuing on in the course. I look forward to the next one!

I've tried a couple other IT courses from other sites and wasn't happy until I came across this Google course on Coursera. I am already excited to start my next Google course.

This course is very interesting and easy to follow. I really liked it the way it is presented and promote this to other friend who have interest in the field to join coursera.

Overall, a good course, the only downside was the waiting for the resources during the external and VM assignments. But I very much enjoyed and learned a lot from this course!

This course is very informative with all the topics learned. The only thing that I did notice was the typos in the "video text". Just needs to be tuned up. Great work overall!

Even though it has been awhile since I had any type of computer training the study habits and the drive to learn quickly kicked in and I wanted to strive harder to learn more.

I learned a lot in this course and took thorough notes to look back on. I didn't even know anything about Linux until this course. And the binary numbers have fascinated me.

At first I was questionable if I was going to be able to take this course and understand it. So far course one, was exciting and fun. This course has definitely caught my eye.

If you have no basics or completely new to computers this is a good place to start. Covers all the basics and then some, make sure you do read the given supplemental readings.
