À propos du cours

An introduction to the Objective-C programming language. This will prepare you for more extensive iOS app development and build a foundation for advanced iOS development topics. Objective-C programming requires a Mac laptop or desktop computer. An iOS device is optional if the learner is willing to working exclusively with the simulator. Some learners have been able to work with an OS X virtual machine on Windows, but explaining how to do that is beyond the scope of this course. Upon completing this course, you will be able to: 1. Read and write Objective-C 2. Have a strong grasp of Objective-C objects 3. Organize their code professionally using objects and blocks 4. Prototype several entry-level apps...

This is not valid course, mu rate is 0 (ZERO) of 5 stars. I have submitted peer assignment and due to bug on the platform it has not been .graded. I have contacted several times courseera regarding this issue but it has not been solved and then I have canceled whole subscribption for the specialization which this course is part of. BE AWARE: DO NOT ENROLL THIS.

Be very careful - I couldn't even get my first assignment graded and it took a week to find 3 people who actually finished assignment 1. Also - Apple stopped using Objective C about 6 years ago and is now using the coding language Swift that they developed. Try to find something else until UCI updates the course.

Very very long lectures with ambiguous content. Many information provided are inaccurate, and the course doesn't teach neither programming concepts for beginners, nor high or even intermediate training for other developers.

In my opinion, It's a waste of time.

Course is outdated. The peer review cannot be completed but there are no assignments from other people. Of course this can happen but then withdraw the course from coursera!

Peer review assignments are too hand-held, making the assignments themselves worthless.
