Beth is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Outdoor Learning in the Outdoor and Environmental Education Section of the Moray House School of Education, University of Edinburgh. She gained her PhD from the University of Edinburgh in 2004. Currently, she is Programme Director for the
<a href="http://www.ed.ac.uk/schools-departments/education/institutes/etl/outdoor-education/programmes/learning-for-sustainability/overview"> MSc Learning for Sustainability</a>, teaches across a range of related undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervises MSc, PhD and EdD research. She is the Associate Editor of the Journal of Adventure Education and Outdoor Learning and an active member of the European Institute of Adventure Education and Experiential Learning.
