You will have multiple opportunities to refine your managerial aptitude by participating in various beyond-the-classroom learning initiatives. Academic session
The first-year academic session is divided into 3 Phases of 3.5 months each.There will be 16 functional and general management courses in the first year. The first phase includes classroom learning, while the other 2 phases also have non-classroom learning consisting of Social Immersion, and Personal Growth Lab and workshops on Business Negotiation, Critical Thinking, and Career Development. The last two phases of the first year specifically focus on facilitating your holistic interpersonal development.
The second year offers a bouquet of 6 micro-specialisations with 4 courses of 3 credits each. You will have the flexibility to choose any 3 micro-specialisations that align with your future goals.
Academic requirements
Following is the summary of the academic requirements for completing the programme successfully:
- You need to earn 80 credits for graduation.
- You will undertake a 6-credit project in the second year.
- The minimum duration of the programme is 2 years, and the maximum is 3 years, subject to approval from the Programme Head or Academic Council.

Campus immersions (optional)
- There will be three optional in-campus immersions of 5 days each at the SPJIMR, Mumbai Campus. The immersions are tentatively planned in March 2024, September 2024, and March 2025.
- The in-campus immersions are subject to the conditions that prevail at that point of time. The sessions during the in-campus modules are included in the total number of sessions offered per course.
- The immersions will include academic sessions, workshops and guest sessions.
Programme length
The programme is designed so you can enrol from anywhere in the world and complete courses at your own pace. The minimum duration in which you can complete the programme duration is 24 months and the maximum duration is 36 months.
