In this 1-hour long project-based course, you will learn how to get input from the user and then display it in a separate line and use different data types to store the variables in them. You will also be able to use the if conditions to let the program make decisions whether the player guessed a correct character or not and keeping track that the number of turns is not zero. In addition, you will be able to implement the definite type of loops, that will be used to continue the game. By the end of the project, you will get to know and implement recursive function, that will help having a more user friendly game. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.

  1. By the end of Task 1, you will be able to get input from the user and then display it in a separate line.

  2. By the end of Task 2, you will be able to use different data types and store them in variables to be updated or checked later in the project

  3. By the end of Task 3, you will be able to use the if conditions to let the program make decisions whether the player guessed a correct character or not

  4. By the end of Task 4, you will be able to get a guess from the user continually while keeping track that the number of turns is not zero

  5. By the end of Task 5, you will be able to implement the definite type of loops, that will be used to continue the game and make it more user friendly and close to the real game.

  6. By the end of Task 6, you will be able to stop the program from executing the rest of the code, if the player won and the number of turns didn’t reach 10 yet.

  7. By the end of Task 7, you will be able to define a recursive function that will help the user play the game over and over again.
