Welcome back. I missed you.
I hope you missed me. Before we get to the CEO interview with
Julie Allanson, let me talk about next week's class.
Next week's class is a workshop. True story about Susan Feller and 3
Fellers Bakery. Susan Feller has what I call a high class
problem. She has started a business, she has
successfully started a business and she has lots of growth alternatives and she
doesn't know which one to take and she's come to us, she's come to you, she's come
to me to ask for advice. So using the growth risk assessment tool
I want you to basically create a list of what are her growth alternatives.
Then, look in this, think about using the two, what are the
pros and cons of each alternative? Answer the question.
Is she ready to grow? What should she do and why?
And I'd like for you to be part of a class forum community whether that's by
geography where you live, type of business you're interested in, form them
however you like. This is yours but you may create those
answers and share and discuss among yourselves and learn from each other.
And then when we come to class next week, alright?
I'm going to basically go through, and basically we're going to discuss what you
put on the forum, because I'm going to read it, and we're going to basically
give you at least some of the issues that she thought about, because I have worked
with her on this issue, and we've got real good feedback.
Now, so next week's a workshop. Okay?
The case sets up the workshop and what I want you to do, okay is a couple of
things, alright? A couple of things.
Think, prepare, internalize, share, learn, and
be open to learning from each other. Now, we're going to go to Julie's talk.
This is about a fifteen minute interview with Julie and then, after Julie's talk,
I just got a couple of words to wish you all well on the last, if you will, until
next week. So please, right after you watch Julie
and, and her talk, I'll be right back to you.
See you in fifteen minutes.
