[MUSIC] Based on my experience, and that of my friends, when we come here, we can be shocked, cultural shocks, or surprised. Pleasantly surprised or maybe even disappointed with the way how some things work here. But all these emotions and all of these thoughts are things that add up to the experience of living here. And you will find that you grow as an individual so much. Just learning to cope with the differences and things that are just not in your comfort zone. And, also, it's a personal interest as well, but I believe that learning the Japanese language would be a really good way to understanding this society. And the complexities and nuances that just exist everywhere that may be hidden from the eyes of a foreigner. but once you know the language and once you communicate with the people, your experience here will be so much more enriched, so go for it. >> Learn more about the culture, I think you should understand Japanese. So the first- the thing you need to prepare and the thing you need to do when you start your life in Japan is to try your best learning Japanese. And understand some at least basic phrases and words. I think Japanese course is really available in your University and the place that you live. So, it will be really easy for you. >> Start the application procedure early and learn some Japanese before you come to Japan. >> I think that Japan can be the perfect choice for you to study because well to begin with studying in Japan can be less expensive than Europe or in America. And secondly, I think that there are many similarities in Japanese and Chinese cultures. So I think it will be convenient for you to get adapted to the life here. And what is more, I think that you'd better start preparation early, and pick up some Japanese, because Japanese is just so important here. You have to use Japanese to communicate with others, to exchange ideas, to talk about some research topics. And even, you have to use Japanese to apply for a scholarship sometimes, so it's very important. >> Coming to Japan is actually a great challenge, but I think that all the students, instead of your native language, Spanish or other, or not English, you can handle this. You can handle because Tokyo, or specifically actually Japan provides a lot of opportunities, provides technology, infrastructure, knowledge, the state of art of many science here are in the top so I think that the possibilities to do a lot of things on research, on the studies is a very advantage that you have to take in account. >> Well I think Japan is a great place to be. I think it also has one of the best infrastructures and the budgets to do the kind of research that one wants to do or one can imagine. The most cutting edge research is being conducted here in the University of Tokyo in Japan- In general, and I think it's a great place to be, it's similar the experience- it's similar to many That you have in many of the world's best universities and I think overall it would be a great place to study in.
