[MUSIC] Hello, I am Professor Duck-Joo Lee. Much to our regret, today is the last lecture. Today, we are going to have the time to summarize our course. Do you remember the words from Nobel Museum discussed during the first lecture of the week? This was spoken by Edward Young, a British poet from 300 years ago. Born originals, how comes it to pass, that we die copies? Why are we born as originals only to copy the world and die as copies? I'd gone to Nobel Museum in Stockholm for travel during my visit to Royal Institute of Technology in 2011 and when I saw these words, I was so surprised. How did Edward, who did not know what subtract using self-reflection meditation, knew this notion. This was also an opportunity to confirm once again about this meditation. It confirmed for me that I can find answers to where did I come from and where am I going? Which was an unsolvable problem in the concern for the humanity, regardless of Western or Eastern philosophies. This question will be solved when the copies were all thrown away and one had returned to the origin. And living with the original universe mind is the human completion itself. Hasn't the answer to this question gotten much clearer by now? Due to the subtraction method, we are able to return to the origin. If you have also tried the self-reflection and the subtraction method, this work would have been understood much deeply and would have touched you. As soon as we are born, we copy the world by taking pictures through eyes, nose, ears, mouth, and body. And we had been living within the copied world. Because those pictures we took overlap the real world exactly, we are deluded that we are living in the real world. I had compared this to a movie. As you were continuing to reflect on your life, you'd have agreed to this word. I am the star, the producer and audience of this one movie. If someone was wearing red-colored glasses, and they claim that the whole world is all red, what would you do? You would say, take off the colored glasses and see the real world. To live in the real world, one must sufficiently self-reflect to see what kind of colored glasses he wore to live in his own world and subtract it. The true happiness can be found when one eliminate and throw away the gap between the true world and the false world, and the gap between the wished self and the current self. Therefore, subtraction method is important. You'd say that a method which can be done by anyone about anything and get you results consistently throughout the passage of time would be a truly excellent method. The Wright brothers were able to fly in 1903 because they had the will to fly, and the principles, and the method to accomplish this and they put them to action. Afterwards, the aviation technology has vastly advanced and military airplanes, commercial airlines and the space rocket are flying the skies. But, even now, in NASA, the aviation principles and the method of the Wright brothers are still used. Now it is time for our mind to fly freely. That could be because the clear method has arrived to self-reflect in order to live in the real world. Can you imagine it? Each individual, one by one, come to be without their own picture world without stress and become happy. Followed by each society, nation and the all the world becoming happy. In this kind of world, how could there be any fights, battles, or wars. As we discussed during the first week of lecture, a constitution by UNESCO which was established 70 years ago to achieve the peaceful world wished by many stated thusly. Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is the minds of men that defenses of peace must be constructed. Isn't this truly correct? It is because people construct the world and they live with their minds. If my mind was full of anger and conflict, it would be displayed. And if my mind was full of peace and happinesses, then this would be also revealed to the world. Because the world peace is reached by all of us, the attention on meditation seems to be growing more worldwide. In 2013 The Academic Society for Human Completion in Korea sponsored the first International Conference for Human Completion with the theme of happiness, ask the mind. Educators gathered to speak about the human completion. On this day, Mr. Dong-seok Min, the Secretary-General of UNESCO Korea, came to offer a congratulatory address. And he paid close attention to the result of researchers' studies on meditation and world peace. We said our goal is world peace. Its starting point is within one's mind. Has it gotten clear now about the meaning of UNESCO constitution? Now would be the time for a peaceful living. How was your day today? Was it peaceful and happy? I have said many times that we are born to live happily. But it is a harsh reality that we couldn't be always happy. Now, finding that will change happiness should be our proposal of life. The title of this lecture is Meditation: A way to achieve your goals in your life This is not just a theory. I established this course to realize and put this into action. This was possible because of the method, through the self-reflection meditation's subtraction method. Eliminate the false human mind taking pictures in self-centered way. And anyone can achieve human completion via recovering the infinite and pure universe mind of origin. Now we must state the proposed end direction of human life. We felt that we had lived in the false world, as we self-reflected. But true world and the false world were overlapped. So we did not know we lived in the false world. This subtraction must be done while we are living. When I become happy, this happiness spread to the world like music and sound. Then, this lecture will finish with the story of Ieko, who is a violinist. [MUSIC] I am truly thankful for people who help up to this point. If you have any questions, I will always help you to the best of my ability. Thank you very much for your listening this course.
