[MUSIC] So we talked about one particular example that you might explore in your project, that of finding sub-communities within a social network. But really, the Capstone Project is where you get to do set the tone. You get to drive the project and decide what question you want to answer about what data. And so what I'd like to do now in this video is step through the process that you'll take in completing your project. So week one is all about getting warmed up, making sure that we are comfortable with what a social network is and what data might be available for you. And so we'll have a few videos coming up. Describing well, what exactly is Facebook? What is Twitter? What data might we use for the project? And then we'll also talk about the two warm up exercises that you'll do to get back into coding for this capstone project. And now in week two is when you really get to scope out how much you want to answer about your project. And we'll ask you to identify two problems that you want to answer about your data set. One, it should be relatively easy to implement and one that might be a little bit harder that uses new algorithms that really let's you stretch out and influx those coding muscles. Now in week three you'll be really solving the whole problem for your easy question and that's a really nice warm up for the hard question. It'll also let you go through the same steps that you will do for the hard question and get feedback on both the scope and your analysis and your code, for the entire project. Weeks four and five are work weeks. You will be implementing. You will be refining, testing, and iterating your design and really coming up with some great solutions to your project. And also think about how to present those solutions both in written and in oral form. And so by the end of week six you will have presented and shared your work, And really seeing what the rest of your colleagues here in the Capstone project are doing. So, at this point, we're ready to dig deep on some data, and that's what Christine will be doing in the next video.
