And list the sources here for you. I've talked about Andrew Wayne's class at Stanford University. There's a link. You can go there. The lectures are free in iTunes U. I read through the bulk of these two dummies books on machine learning and predictive analytics, and this Deep Learning book. I mean, to at some point, circle back because I flip through it and looked at the content, and then it looks to be a really good source of information. You know about Anaconda link already, scikit-learn.org. There's a ton of information out there about that library, and I just found this one within last week, ten-machine-learning-algorithms-you-should-know-to-become-a-data-scientist. Many of the ones we've talked about are on there, but there's a few other ones. So, those are sources for you. CB Insights does mostly venture capital and acquisition analysis. I had sent them an inquiry, and now I'm forever on their email list, but I get good stuff from them once in a while. So, this one here shows the most well-funded start-ups in each state. There's a company in Colorado here called Well Talk. They do health care, and then you can go look at this study. I've shared that info with you. Again, it's opportunity. We're here to help you in the professional master's program, is to get a job. That's where you're headed. That's why. It may not all of you, but most of you in the embedded system engineering programmer and get a job and we're here to help you on your way. This was another one about acquisitions: Google, Apple, Facebook, and Intel, and the companies that they've acquired over time. We're just going to have a look at that. Elon Musk's Efforts extracted this from the big list of companies that I'll give you at the end of the semester. He has three AI companies right now, and I went to each of their sites. So, OpenAI is a nonprofit research company discovering, enhancing the path to save artificial intelligence. The FutureOfLife has to catalyze and support research initiatives for safeguarding life and developing optimistic visions of the future, including positive ways for humanity to steer its own course, considering new technologies and challenging challenges. NeuraLink is developing ultra-high bandwidth brain machine interfaces to connect humans and computers as I alluded to. I think I called it a USB port in the back of our head, and it freaks me out a little bit thinking about that. But, I mean, if you can do cool stuff with it, it is not harmful. I might plug in one day. We'll see. They give these away every so often to try to tease you into paying for their services. So, I don't know if the department will pay for it, but this one caught my eye. Top AI trends to watch in 2018. Seems very relevant. So, you can read this whole thing, but the heat map here is the thing that got my my attention. So, time is going across. This was Q4 12. This was Q4 of 17, and these are the segments, but we can see AI is huge in healthcare. When I was first got involved with machine learning in Minnesota Neural Network Society, one of the professors at the university was trying to predict folding patterns of proteins, form and with proteins has this function. I think I got that right. So, he was trying to predict the folding patterns of proteins. I'm not sure what cross industry applications are, but number three, cybersecurity. It's getting hotter as we go. IOT in the Industrial Internet of Things also heating up tremendously as we move forward, and then the heat map gets all cooler as we go down into the left there. So, I want to share that with you.
