Congratulations. You have made it to the final course in this Specialization on Graphic Design Skills. You've learned and applied the basic elements of graphic design, including the design principles of balance, alignment, proximity, space, repetition, and contrast. We've also covered the graphic elements of graphic design, such as color theories and specific uses of certain color options and the image in graphic files, vector versus raster. Previous modules cover textual elements of graphic design as well. All of those skills will be used to help you design your pieces for this final course. You will get the opportunity to design a website and a multiple page manual. Both of those projects will be making sure you have addressed the user experience of graphic design pieces. In order to do that and help with that, I'm also going to expand and build on textual elements and color elements. I will also cover printing and online terms that will be important for you to know as you progress into the graphic design world. While this specialization has covered many elements through design, it's such a changing industry. As we have covered and as it's true for most professions, there are basic skill one needs to know to succeed. Those basic skills have not changed much in the years I have been in the industry even with the use of computer programs and online platforms. Those same skills are used in design, be it produced on paper design or on electronic screen. Now, you too have known and have practiced those basic skills of graphic design. I wish you success and look forward to you getting to show your skills in the final project in this course. Good luck and happy designing.
