Hello again. There are many tips out there about how to write better stories in several good books about the art of storytelling. One of them being, for instance, Alan Moore's classic on How to Write Comics. They all teach us easy and important tools like structuring a story in three acts, creating powerful characters, presenting conflicts which will lead to changes in the psychological evolution throughout the story, etc. However, these very useful pieces of advice guarantee nothing. The success of our content and the search for virality is still quite unpredictable as any professional in the field will tell you. We know people like stories which inspire them or make them feel good, but the web is full of empty and forgotten stories which were meant to inspire users and eventually failed to connect with them. We know that describing our products is often a sterile endeavor, but inventing clips or stories with absolutely no relationship to our brand ends up being just another form of colorful maybe, but completely hollow advertising, with no link whatsoever to our life. We also know it's no use ignoring what people are talking about, but every day hundreds or thousands of content pieces are published to satisfy this desire for certain hot topics, which you can easily look up in Internet logs, and they finally end up in the virtual wastepaper basket. So, we can conclude this is certainly not mathematics and that we must return to our old friend, the concept of relevance. A concept which defines something that has some meaning to the user in relation to any aspect of his or her world. Stories which reflects a given aspects of their life for many worthwhile angle and which are therefore useful even if they don't inspire to teach us anything. They are already helping us to understand something in a different way and showing us people or realities we haven't met before or not under this perspective. In our next few videos, we are going to speak with content professionals in order to learn more about this grand and not easy to answer question. How do we attract the attention of saturated minds today? Please stay with us.
