So this presentation isn't sufficient. We'll go through our reasoning for why.
To begin with, the look and feel
do not help communicate the pitch's overall message.
The animations are distracting, the little sounds on
transitions do not help you understand what the presenter
is trying to get across and the big slurp
of coffee at the beginning is also clearly distracting.
Typos on the slides
hurt understanding and the style
diminishes the presentation's overall credibility.
One point on that one the problem is not explained.
It's only superficially identified and certainly not in a way that anyone outside
this profession would understand, though it does appear to be an actual problem.
One point on that element.
The solution is explained at a superficial level.
Again, no evidence of customer interaction here, and it's not clear that
this solution actually solves the problem as it's been identified.
Next, the strategy includes confusing and
conflicting references to both a website and
an in-person internship fair without a clear explanation of how the two relate.
There's no differentiation of the solution,
and no sustainable strategy laid out.
Again, we see lots of aspirations, without clear support.
Resources list exclusively financial resources,
neglecting human elements.
There is more money built into this ask
than is needed for a minimally viable product.
And again there is no evidence of team to back up the founder's weaknesses.
So, no points for strategy, no points for resources.
And overall, this presentation does not meet our minimum standards.
