This is a video solution for Practice exercise 2. We want to start by uploading and opening the file C03-W3-PE-02. With the file open, we want to make sure that we show the sketch, Sketch8. This contains our sketch that's projected onto a surface. From the Bodies folder, we're going to hide Surface1 and Surface2. This is going to show only the sketch. Next, from the Create, we want to create a new form. On the Create drop-down, we'll select Pipe. We're going to set the Global Diameter to 5.00 mm, and we're going to start selecting the lines on the top. As I'm selecting, I'm going to change the visualization style to show them as rounded pipes. Want to make sure that we select all the edges that are associated with the top. Once we're happy with all of these, we'll go to the End Types tab, set it to Square, and select OK. We can follow the same procedure to make pipes on the bottom, or we can go to Modify, Move/Copy, select the body to move, select Create Copy, and move it down 15 millimeters in the minus direction. So now we've made a copy that aligns with the sketch. This puts it in the right location and ensures that we have the exact same patch layout. We can hide Sketch8. Finish the form, and save the file.
