[MUSIC] Greetings to all. In today's class we will start building structural model. For the first class we are going to draw the first floor slab. Here we will use line tool, push and pull tool, art tool, and a move tool. This class is a first step in the construction of our entire building, so we need to do it perfectly. Let's get started. Now we are going to draw the first floor slab. First, we select the window in the menu bar then Default Tray > Layers. Click the + button to add a new layer would give this layer, the layer of first slap and chooses as an active layer. Then we select the line tool to draw the floor surface first. When the line forms a polygonal shape, we can put out by selecting the push and pull tool and clicking the face we drew. We input 20cm into the measurement box to obtain a slab of 20 centimeter thick. Then we drew the balcony. We click the dropdown menu of the Arcs tool and shoot 3 points Arc. We need to draw the balcony arc referring to the floor pen. We use the same procedure to draw the other balcony. Once the balcony surface is completed, we pull this two surface 20 centimeters, we'll find the line between the floor and the balconies. We have to erase these lines to make the floor and the balconies join together and share the same surface. Because we draw the walls and columns later, we first have to move the floor plan up for 20 centimeters to make it easier for us to keep drawing the walls and columns. At the moment, we right click the floor plan and select unlock. Then we select Move tool and click the floor plan. Press the up arrow key on our keyboards to make sure the floor plan will along the Blue Axis. Then we input 20cm in the measurement box to lift the floor plan to the same height as the slab's top surface height. So our visibility for the floor plan won't be effective. Then the floor plan will be above the slab. Now we're going to add some details, according to the floor plan, the entrance to the first floor has two steps there. The first step is only ten centimeter high. And the floor is 20cm thick. So we use the line tool to draw the boundary between the first and the second step. Then we push the first step down for 10cm to finish drawing the first floor slab. Today we draw the first floor slab. Even though this is an easy task it's very important for the correct achievement of the building. Also it's important to remember to use the layers with the correct names, and in the same ways as we learned today. This pattern will allow us to have control over our building elements. We will learn more in the next classes. Let's stop drawing for now. Goodbye. [MUSIC]
