About the Course

In the second course of Machine Learning Engineering for Production Specialization, you will build data pipelines by gathering, cleaning, and validating datasets and assessing data quality; implement feature engineering, transformation, and selection with TensorFlow Extended and get the most predictive power out of your data; and establish the data lifecycle by leveraging data lineage and provenance metadata tools and follow data evolution with enterprise data schemas. Understanding machine learning and deep learning concepts is essential, but if you’re looking to build an effective AI career, you need production engineering capabilities as well. Machine learning engineering for production combines the foundational concepts of machine learning with the functional expertise of modern software development and engineering roles to help you develop production-ready skills. Week 1: Collecting, Labeling, and Validating data Week 2: Feature Engineering, Transformation, and Selection Week 3: Data Journey and Data Storage Week 4: Advanced Data Labeling Methods, Data Augmentation, and Preprocessing Different Data Types...

Interesting material. There are quite a lot of typos and many code snippets are directly from the tfx manual pages however the instructions provided and logic of the course is clear.

This course is terrible. The instruction is tedious and the assignments are brainless fill-in-the-blanks TFX

Overall this was a good course, but there were bugs in the provided code for the programming assignments.

The course is informative and well made, but the bugs in the grading algorithm are super annoying!

imo quiz questions can be less ambiguous and better thought of.

I'm very disappointed with the video content. I found very difficult to follow the instructor in the videos. Every video starts with an outline, but then the names of the different section changes or the content itself is different or is very difficult to know if a section ends or another starts. On top of that, in my opinion TFX is way more complex than what you showed. There are so many open questions that are not address and the philosophy of the platform needs to be described better. I found a book from O'Reilly (Building Machine Learning Pipelines) a better resource to learn TFX. Also, the documentation of TFX is good to find the main components, but how anybody finds all the proto buffers that are needed for each component? I mean, the first question that raised to me was, how do I ingest a parquet file (which is more common in production) intead of a csv file? nor the course nor the documentation helped, the mentioned book did it. Hope the next courses of the specialization has more quality than this one (at least the same as the first course of the specialization).

I felt like the course was a sneaky way to sell GCP. I now know what people that sit through 4 hour time share sales presentations feel like. The practicals were less than useless unless you happen to be using GCP, in which case you would go through GCP to get certification. The quiz questions were at times misleading and the videos were bloated and could have been cut down in length significantly. I also feel like video format is probably not the best means to convey this information.

Automatic grader was not working and there is no simple way to contact someone to fix it. I got stuck with half of the assignment graded and the other half not graded without possibility of fixing it. One should have a assistance or way of contacting someone that corrects the parser if you want to do difficult things you need to understand that the automation might not work.

I'm actually shocked at how terrible this course was. Incredibly boring. I took DeepLearning.AI's course on NLP which was awesome and I learned a ton. This course however was painfully boring and dull and made me want to stop pursuing the Certification

Traté en varios navegadores de enviar mi trabajo para ser sometido a evaluación, sin éxito. No obtuve respuesta ni soporte.

El contenido es interesante pero el soporte y habilitación no está al nivel de lo requerido: es lamentable que no reembolsen.

Not recommended at all. Boring, very poor content and really bad explanations. Also it was not engaging at all. Don't waste your time and money with this course. The first one of the specialization is (Andrew) is fantastic.

Very poorly designed and delivered course. The trainer is just reading a script. Seems more like a forced practice session for Tensorflow which is as convoluted as the course.

the course is focused specifically on how things are done in TF and most of the time we learn TF paradigm. The graded assignments are c&p of ungraded asignments

Miserable experience, TFX is very unintuitive and has such cumbersome syntax. I really dont see myself using it, specially when better tools are available.

The assignment grading system is not working. I submit the right expected answer but got 0/120. This is pretty annoying and discouraging.

Feel free to skip this course, you've learned most of this content in the intro and the rest is just TensorFlow marketing.

This is mostly an advertisement for tensorflow extended! You don't learn anything rigorous in this course.
