À propos du cours

This course is an introduction to decision-making criteria widely used in the real world and will help you understand the foundational principles of how most organizations make decisions. This course is part of a specialization titled “Foundational Finance for Strategic Decision-Making” and is helpful if you are interested in applying to an MBA degree program or learning the foundations of finance to be more effective in your career. This course is applied and problem-based with assignments that are intentionally introductory and simpler than real-world applications you will confront when making day-to-day financial decisions and in more advanced courses....

An excellent course for decision making criteria and an intuitive as well as practical course for such concepts as IRR bench marking, cost of capital etc.

You will definitely need additional resources for this course beyond the lectures if you aren't already proficient in the subject matter.

His videos do not correspond to the week in this course. If you are rebranding the videos, to this course, please make sure your slides correspond to the weeks in Coursera. This is so unprofessional. I am only taking the rest of the other courses is because I am half way thru the specialisation. Otherwise, no way.

Interesting problems. Class need reformatting. The solved solutions are in week 4. They would have helped in week 2. More practice problems would be better.

Do not take this course. This course is poorly done. It is technical and requires a lot of math work. When you get a question wrong, they don't show you the correct answer nor how to work through it to get it right. Instead, they provide nonsensical, short answers. This is unhelpful and inhibits learning. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE.
