Bio

Mary A. Fox, PhD MPH, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management and Co-Director of the Johns Hopkins Risk Sciences and Public Policy Institute. Her research is focused on quantitative human health risk assessment as a part of environmental policy making, particularly approaches to cumulative risk assessment of chemical and non-chemical stressors. Dr. Fox is interested in applying cumulative risk assessment concepts of the multiple determinants of health to develop comprehensive climate change adaptation strategies. Dr. Fox received her MPH in Environmental Studies from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and PhD in Environmental and Occupational Health Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
