Marco Steenbergen

Professor of Political Methodology

Bio

I am a professor at the University of Zurich, where I hold the Chair in Political Methodology. I was educated in the Netherlands (University of Amsterdam) and the United States (Stony Brook University) and taught previously at Carnegie Mellon University, UNC Chapel Hill, and the University of Berne. My methodological interests entail causal inference, choice models, measurement, and multilevel analysis. My substantive interests are in the area of American and European political behaviour, which I approach from a political psychological perspective.
