Dr. Kate Allman

Bio

Kate Allman is an Instructor in the Program in Education and the Project Manager of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Robert Noyce Fellowship at Duke University. She received her Ph.D. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an M.Ed. in English Education from Wake Forest University, and a B.A. in English from Emory University. She served as the Assistant Editor of The High School Journal from 2010-2012.

Dr. Kate Allman is interested in innovative and culturally-responsive approaches to high school STEM teaching. In her role as the Project Manager of the Noyce Fellowship, she has worked with faculty across Duke University to develop STEM curriculum for North Carolina teachers.
