Alexander Tashkeev graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Department of Human and Animal Physiology in 2015. During his undergraduate research, Alexander was studying adult brain stem cells in an experimental lab for two years and then decided to make a transition to a quantitative biology. Currently he is completing the second MSc in the Laboratory of Computational and Structural Transcriptomics at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Russia) where he is studying gene co-expression networks. His scientific passion is to make biological discovery through integrative data analysis. Main research interests: developmental and systems biology under normal and pathological conditions, and genetics of complex traits.
